“I feel very drawn to religion, but at the same time I feel a lot of uncertainty. I live in a state of spiritual flux. I believe in the permanence of the soul.”
— J.K. Rowling
My dreads look like tree branches.
Good thing or bad thing?
AMAZING thing! This is what makes everyone’s hair/dreads so different and unique to themselves. Never wish or want for someone elses, because though they’d be on you, you’d never have the same feeling for them. Embrace the crazy, love the locks and cherish the journey. <3 Beautiful.
My nose is so red… dunno why though. Not to mention how rough I look in these pics, bleh.
Nearing or at 2 months, I can’t remember at the moment. They’re doin’ some crazy things right now. My hair has shrunk a good 4-6 inches from when I started. There’s nothing BUT loops in my hair atm. Interesting look right now though. Excuse the lone bead atop my head, I’m training roots… it’s my slider bead.
Side-ish view.
Loopage. I have all kinds of sizes involved here, from huge lumps to tiny strands. Crazy. Kids room in the backdrop… ‘scuse the mess. (>_<)
Don’t feel like puttin’ the pics on the computer to make a set, I’m bein’ lazy… so, beware of the following pictures to come. Uploading from phone.
Day 16: January 30th, 2012
Firstly, I’m posting this because I recently got dreads, and I am in love with them.
Secondly, I am posting this because I am embracing the Goddess within me. Every woman has a goddess within her, and she deserves to shine. (This is also why I am not wearing makeup, haha)
What is the most beautiful, wonderful, amazing thing in your life…? YOU! Your life would be nothing without YOU. So appreciate and love and accept yourself for who you are, because you deserve it!
Deserving of a re-blog, no doubt in my mind. <3<3<3
I gotta go to bed. I’m about to pass out on the keyboard (…again). Goodnight my darlings. <3
